POLICE in Acton Bridge and Weaverham have ordered several people to leave the areas after reports of cold calling.
Reassurance home visits have since been made in both areas by police officers after residents raised numerous concerns.
A statement from Weaver and Cuddington Police reads: “Several persons were stopped, spoken to and ordered to leave the area by officers.
“If you have any concerns with regards to cold callers, call 101, or 999 if you feel intimidated/threatened.”
