WITTON Albion and 1874 Northwich can now plot their way through the 2022-23 Northern Premier League West Division season.
Following Witton’s relegation from the NPL Premier Division, the cross-town neighbours will meet in league competition for the very first time.
The sides will meet at Townfield on Boxing Day – Monday, December 26 – before the reverse fixture at the U Lock It Stadium on Easter Monday, April 10.
The season itself gets underway on Saturday, August 13, with 1874 starting with a home fixture against Prescot Cables.
Meanwhile, Witton will be on the road to start with new manager Jon Macken’s first competitive game in charge being a trip to Newcastle Town.
