A NORTHWICH teenager has been fined for his disorderly behaviour in the town over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.

Jonathan Tickle, of Melchett Crescent, Rudheath, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates' Court on July 12.

The offence relates to an incident in Northwich on Saturday, June 4, as people across the country came together to celebrate The Queen's 70-year reign.

The 19-year-old was charged with threatening or abusive behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Taking his plea into account, magistrates fined Tickle £120 and ordered him to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

He must also pay a £34 surcharge to fund victim services.
