WHEN the sun is shining on a hot summer’s day, not much beats a cold, refreshing drink in a beer garden.

A drink or two al fresco with family and friends is the perfect way to enjoy the warm weather.

But where in Northwich is the best beer garden?

Which pub, restaurant or café is your favourite place to enjoy a pint or a glass of wine outdoors with a few bar snacks?

Northwich Guardian: Where is your favourite place to enjoy a drink al fresco?Where is your favourite place to enjoy a drink al fresco?

In our Best of 2022 campaign, we’ve given out 11 awards in Northwich in a range of different categories.

Lissie Wright Hair (hair), The Beauty Spot (nails and beauty), The Lion (pub) and Sharon Power Fitness (fitness instructor) together with JD’s Café (pies), Winsford Fryer (fish and chips), Oakwood Marina (breakfast), Poppy Rose Vintage Tearoom (afternoon tea) are some of our previous winners.

The Style Hut recently took the crown for Best Independent Shop and Hartford Hall officially serves the Best Roast Dinner.

Voting is currently taking place to find the town’s best pizza with the closing date midnight on Monday.

This week, we want to focus on beer gardens and find out where in Northwich you go to when you want to enjoy the summer sunshine and a drink.

Once we’ve narrowed it down to a shortlist of top beer gardens, the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.

HOW IT WORKS:

Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations close each Monday morning at 12pm.

Then each Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.

You will be able to vote in one of three ways:

- By commenting under the relevant post on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian Facebook pages = 1 vote

- By entering via the online article on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian websites = 2 votes

- By entering via our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian newspapers = 5 votes

The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.

They will then be entered into the running for our overall Simply The Best award at the end of the competition.

Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.
