Motorist banned from the road for careless driving and failing to stop for police
A MOTORIST has been banned from the road for careless driving and failing to stop for police in Northwich.
James Mollitor, of Longridge, Knutsford, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at Chester Magistrates Court on July 6.
The 19-year-old also admitting failing to stop when requested by a police officer.
Mollitor was driving a Seat Ibiza on the A556 in Rudheath, Northwich, on February 25, this year when the offences occurred, the court heard.
The defendant was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £583.
Magistrates took his guilty pleas into consideration when imposing the sentence.
