A photo a month by Guardian Camera Club members - May and June

ROUNDING off our photo a month feature, here are Guardian Camera Club members' photos of May and June.

To mark the halfway point of the year, we asked local amateur photographers to share a photo that represents each of the first six months of the year.

Two weeks ago we featured January and February, last week was March and April and this week we're highlighting May and June.

We'll be looking at the second six months of the year towards the end of 2022.

Summer blooms, feathered friends and a return of festivals and celebrations were captured in the images.

Each week members are asked to share images based on a theme on our Camera Club Facebook page as well as their favourite photos that they've taken over the past few days.
