TECHNOLOGY guided firefighters quickly to a woodland fire.
The three word app was used to direct a crew from Northwich to the exact spot.
Firefighters discovered a small fire in a wooded area in Blakemere Lane, Norley, shortly after 8.15pm on Saturday evening.
Firefighters used water to put out the flames and a shovel to dig down into the area to make sure the fire was completely extinguished.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The What3Words app was used to direct firefighters right to the area.”
This app uses a three word address to provide quick, accurate directions to a location.
One fire engine from Northwich attended the incident.
