COMEDIAN Jason Manford has been announced as one of the headliners at this years Tatton Park Pop Up Festival.

Manford’s Comedy Club – headlined by Jason – will be at the festival on Sunday, July 10, supported by former Britain’s Got Talent star Steve Royle, Allyson June Smith and the emcee will be Martin Mor.

The pop up festival, set in the stunning Cheshire countryside, promises a spectacular summer extravaganza of 35 shows over seven weeks – June 24 to August 7.

Renowned for his ‘hilarious observations’ and ‘loveable, friendly delivery’, Jason will be joined on stage by well-established professional comedians working all the major clubs and hand-picked by Jason himself.

Doors will open at 7pm for his performance, with the main show starting at 8pm.

The event will finish at about 10.15pm and all under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult.

Cheshire’s first Pop Up Festival was started last year by Knutsford mum Rebecca Hartley.

Once again, 100 hospitality jobs will be created, and every effort is being made to employ local people and use nearby suppliers and contractors.

Each event will accommodate up to 1,200 guests, with comedians, music and a selection of children’s entertainers and family shows included in the programme.

There will be comfy deck chairs, food and drink and acts like Abba Mia the Party,

Martin Kemp Back to the 80s and Craig Charles Funk and Social Club.

A Proms Night featuring an orchestra and firework display will mark the final night on Sunday, August 7.
