POLICE have released a mugshot of a man sent to prison last week for attacking three schoolboys at Hartford train station.

Nicky Fallows, of Greenfields in Winsford, was jailed for 24 weeks at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday, June 10.

The 37-year-old was so drunk when he turned up at the station on September 7 last year, he could barely remember what he had done.

At around 3pm, two schoolboys, on their way home, were approached by Fallows, who took a tie from one of them and hit his 12-year-old friend around the head and neck with it.

Fallows also grabbed one of the boys and demanded to know what time the next train was.

The incident took a more sinister turn when Fallows made comments about another boy’s facial hair, saying he had more hair on his d**k, before he undid his trousers and exposed his pubic hair.

After saying one of the boys was gay, he then proceeded to twerk, pushing his bottom into the face of one of them, before officers arrived at the scene.

Following an extensive investigation by British Transport Police officers at Crewe, working with colleagues at Cheshire Police, Fallows was quickly identified, arrested and safeguarding measures put in place for the children involved.

Investigating officer DC Melanie Dodd said: "This was an incredibly frightening incident which left all three boys shaken and understandably fearful of strangers.

"These were schoolfriends, minding their own business, when an intoxicated Fallows decided to subject them to physical violence and intimidation. It is the epitome of cowardice for a grown man to target schoolboys to insult and abuse.

"Behaviour like this will not be tolerated and we urge anyone who witnesses any incidents of violence on abuse on the railway to use our discreet text number, 61016, to alert us.

"I would like to praise the young people involved, the three victims and two witnesses who bravely assisted us throughout the entire investigation”
