The Travellers have now left the site
TRAVELLERS on land at Causeway Park have left the site after five days.
The unauthorised encampment - comprising of six caravans - arrived on the land off Wilderspool Causeway on Tuesday, June 7.
One of Warrington’s busiest roads, the land is located by the Esso petrol station near Central Avenue.
The land is owned by Warrington Borough Council and an officer was expected to attend the site on Friday (June 10) to carry out an inspection.
However, it has been confirmed on Sunday (June 12) that the travellers have now moved on.
