A NEW fun-filled adventure golf course has already proved a big hit with children and families.

The Beeches Golf has opened an interactive 18-hole course and café in Chelford Road, Knutsford, creating new jobs.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire have already asked if they can film at the unique venue.

A café offers breakfast, lunch, snacks, a kid’s menu and ice cream.

“The plan is to have a much bigger building by the end of the summer so we will be able to have bigger children’s parties,” said Joe.

“We’re already got a dozen bookings for Scouts, Beavers and we are holding events for company networking days.

“We have had a request from the Real Housewives of Cheshire who want to film on the adventure course which should be good fun.”

Every effort has been taken to give youngsters the chance to enjoy themselves.

The new facility was built by Greenspan, specialist designers who have created outdoor adventure golf courses across the UK.

Construction work started in January.

“It has been designed with kids in mind to go round and have fun,” said Joe.

“It is completely unique. There is nothing like this in our area.

“There is even a huge waterfall, three metres high.

“On one hole, children have to pull themselves across in a raft using a rope which is quite cool.

“There are lots of little interactive elements.”

The course is the latest in a series of developments planned at the site.

A 31-bay floodlit driving range opened in December 2020. A par three course is also in the pipeline.

The adventure golf celebrates an official opening on May 28.

“It has been a long road to get here but hopefully it will be a really successful asset to the local community and the surrounding area,” said Joe.

“We are already getting people from Preston and north Manchester.

“It’s great to bring a good bit of happiness to the place.”
