PARKING issues, anti-social behaviour and burglary are some of the offences Shakerley police officers have dealt with in the ward over the past month.

PCSO Phil Hambleton from the Shakerley Police Beat Team shared a monthly report on social media, covering Lostock Gralam, Lower Peover, and Lostock Green.

In Lostock Gralam, the incidents dealt with included parking issues on Townshend Road, with the police now working with Cheshire West and Chester Council and Highways to address the problem.

Youths were reported setting planks of wood on fire in the communal garden of the flats/bungalows on Hesketh Drive.

Damage was caused to the protective air conditioning unit cages on a business premises on Cheshire Avenue in a separate incident.

A further report in Lostock Gralam involved a youth on an electric scooter nearly hitting a parked vehicle and being abusive when challenge by a resident.

There was also a theft of a number of packets of laundry tablets in the area.

Meanwhile, in Lower Peover, a burglary was reported, in which tools and a bike were stolen from a garage over a six to 12-week period.

Three speed enforcements were carried out across the ward across the past month.

This included Manchester Road in Lostock Gralam, with seven people caught speeding, Middlewich Road in Lower Peover with five people caught and Birches Lane in Lostock Green with another seven caught.
