A WINSFORD man who skipped appointments following his release from prison has been made subject of a community order.
Michael Clarke, of Townfields Road, was sentenced to serve 12 weeks in prison in July of last year.
After the 39-year-old was released he failed to show up to three post-sentence supervision appointments during November.
He admitted those breaches when he appeared at Chester Crown Court on January 28 this year and as a result was sent behind bars for an additional 14 days.
However, after his release this time around, Clarke also failed to show up at appointments on three dates during April and found himself back before the same magistrates on Monday, May 16.
Clarke entered a guilty plea, but rather than sentencing him to another spell behind bars, he was told to complete 40 hours of unpaid work in the community.
The work must be completed by August 18 this year which will be the end of his supervision order.
