THE community has rallied round to help rebuild a Forest School wrecked by vandals.
Firefighters were called following arson attack at Penketh South Community Primary School on Finlay Avenue at 9.15pm on Saturday, May 7.
Staff have already been overwhelmed by support from parents and residents to help restore the special play area.
A spokesman for Penketh South Community Primary School posted on Twitter: “As you can imagine we are very sad and angry.
“One thing that has put a smile on our faces is how amazing this community is.

“The support we have received in such a short time is incredible.
“This ranges from volunteering to help to setting up a fundraising page.
“We truly appreciate it, thank you.
“I’m sure with support we will be able to make our Forest School even better than it was.”
