POLICE are appealing for help from members of the public in finding a wanted man.

Neil Garth, who has links to Cheshire, is wanted by Merseyside Police on recall to prison.

The 40-year-old was jailed for assault in 2009, but has since been released on licence.

However, he has been recalled due to ‘poor behaviour’.

Garth – who is from Preston and is also known to frequent Liverpool – is described as being 5ft9 and of a ‘proportionate’ build with blue eyes, short light brown hair.

Also known as Neil Kearney, he has scars by his left eyebrow, over his right eye and on his right leg.
