A DISCO, funk and soul spectacular is landing in Cheshire this summer at the stunning Arley Hall and Gardens.

Boogietown will take over the 270-year-old gardens for a unique, soulful day festival on July 17.

The line-up includes Gabrielle, Soul II Soul, Craig Charles, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Spoony, Shola Ama, Joy Social, Sharples and Soul Boutique.

A spokesperson said: “A phenomenal experience awaits party-goers at one of the UK’s stand-out locations this summer, with music and wellness intertwining for a truly memorable day.

“Beyond the music are opportunities to relax, enjoy traditional soul food, and upgrade your day with a VIP package before hitting up the after party for another influx of funk.

“Further performances are from TV star turned funkmaster Craig Charles, genre heavyweights and ‘Love and Dancing’ producers Horse Meat Disco, industry legend DJ Spoony, and the voice behind one of the 1990’s biggest soul hits ‘You Might Need Somebody’, Shola Ama.

“Accompanied by disco connoisseurs Joy Social, La Discotheque favourite Sharples, and seasoned selector Soul Boutique, this stellar line-up is exactly what ‘Boogietown’ embodies - the sound of feel-good disco, funk and soul - and is certain to provide Cheshire with an unforgettable day this summer.”
