A UNLICENSED driver has admitted causing the death of an Oakmere man by dangerous driving.
Mark Taylor was behind the wheel of a Honda Accord when he collided with two other vehicles.
One of those was being driven by a 59-year-old man from Oakmere, was taken to hospital, where he sadly died of his injuries. A passenger in the vehicle also suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Taylor, of Railway Street in Crewe, was appearing at Chester Crown Court on Friday, March 25, where he entered guilty pleas to all charges.
As well as admitting causing death by dangerous driving, the 38-year-old also pleaded guilty to charges of causing injury by dangerous driving, as well as causing death by driving without a license or insurance.
He also admitted to an assault by beating charge, with all of the offences taking place on Newcastle Road in Blakelow on February 24.
His Honour, Judge Patrick Thompson, told Taylor he was looking at a 'considerable custodial sentence'.
Taylor was remanded in custody and will return to Chester Crown Court to be sentenced on April 29.
