FOUR drink-drivers have been given bans from the road after being caught behind the wheel while over the limit.

All four were sentenced after pleading guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, March 18.

Jordan Michael Anthony Quantrell, who provided the court with a c/o address in Birmingham, was stopped by police on Greenhall Road on February 25.

The 30-year-old had been driving a Ford Fiesta at the time and when breathalysed by officers gave a reading of 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

With the limit being 35mg/100ml, Quantrell was disqualified from driving for a period of 12 months. He was also fined £120 and must pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £34.

Nathan Henreeta had been driving a Vauxhall Corsa on February 26 when he was stopped by police on Whalley Road.

The 21-year-old provided them with a sample of breath that gave a reading of 66mg/100ml and resulted in an 18-month ban. He was fined £400 and must also pay £85 costs and a £40 surcharge.

Graham Rawcliffe was stopped on Chester Way by police on the same day and was also driving a Vauxhall Corsa.

The 34-year-old gave a reading of 42mg/100ml resulting in a 12-month ban and a fine of £120. He must also pay £85 in costs and a £34 surcharge.

A Mazda MX5 being driven by Tarran Coward-Willis on Leicester Street on February 27 was stopped by police, with the driver giving a reading of 74mg/100ml - more than twice the legal limit.

The 24-year-old was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £120 and must pay £85 in costs and a £34 surcharge.
