ROADS in Lach Dennis and Kingsmead will be closed for approximately two weeks for pipe and gas work next month.
The first closure will come into force along Common Lane, Lach Dennis, on March 28.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has made an order to temporarily prohibit traffic to 'carry out work on existing pipework systems and install new pipework sleeves for Inovyn Enterprises'.
It is anticipated the works will go on for two weeks.
Traffic should instead proceed via Hulse Lane, Hangman’s Lane, Birches Lane, Holmes Chapel Road, Common Lane and vice versa.
The second closure will begin on March 29 along London Road, Kingsmead (left lane closed into A533 Kingsmead travelling from Davenham roundabout), to facilitate gas Opheus works.
It is anticipated the works will go on for two weeks.
Traffic should instead proceed via C840 London Road and A533 Kingsmead.
