A POLICE dog helped with the arrest of a man in Northwich yesterday, Tuesday.
After a man made off from officers, PD Koda tracked and located his wallet stashed in a bush - containing the man's ID, which showed he was wanted.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed: "An officer conducted a regular stop check on a vehicle on Runcorn Road at around 9.40am on Tuesday, January 18.
"A 38-year-old woman from Barnton was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
"The passenger of the car made off from the scene and officers supported by the police dogs searched the area.
"A 32-year-old man from Manchester was arrested on suspicion of obstructing police and assault."
