A POPULAR nutrition club in Northwich is looking to help even more people after moving into a new premises in the town centre.

The Core Nutrition, which was previously based on Ash Street has just opened in the former Retros Music Bar on the High Street, opposite the Salty Dog.

Having helped more than 1000 members lose weight, the community group is a go-to for those seeking to change their lives for the better.

The concept of the club is the brain-child of local couple John Fielding and Kay-Leigh Richardson, who started out on their journey in 2019.

John said: "Our aim at The Core is to help local people to live their best lives by taking control of their nutrition.

"Whether this is by losing weight, gaining weight, toning their body or taking action to relieve the symptoms of an illness or unbalanced lifestyle - we help them gain the knowledge and understanding to ease their journey.

"With our guidance people have literally changed their lives – many have drastically improved health, fitness and mobility as a result of following a programme that is individually tailored for them."

The newly opened premises provide a safe environment for members and the public, with the aim of providing people with a sustainable and healthy way to look after their bodies.

John added: "People often don’t realise that reaching your desired weight is 80 per cent nutrition, 20 per cent exercise.

"Our aim it to educate and help as many people as possible without pushing too hard and putting people under pressure to achieve their goals."

As part of their plan, they encourage people to eat six times a day – this includes three meals and three snacks with a balanced split of nutrients.

With the new central location making them a much more visible presence in the town, they are also offering free wellness evaluations and after this is completed, they offer a 10-day membership, including visits and meal options and other products.

"The problem with one size fits all diets is that people often give up after a few weeks," John went on to say.

"We all enjoy different foods, and The Core provides guidance on eating out, shopping healthy as well as helping you to incorporate healthy eating into your current lifestyle."

The Core Nutrition is open Monday to Friday between 6am-11am, with plans to open at lunchtime coming soon.
