A PUB devastated by the foods in January is looking forward to an exciting new year in 2022.
The Swinging Witch on Crown street was left under water when the town's drainage system failed to cope with the deluge of rain brought by Storm Christoph.
With drive and determination, licensee Emma Smith has transformed the premises into a popular venue and wants to thank customers for all their loyal support.
Emma said: "What a year we have had, floods, lockdowns and a change in the Witch that saw your landlady grab hold of her pub and try and transform it into the best pub you guys could wish for.
"2021 has been a hell of a challenge but with the constant love and support, customers have turned it into the place to be in Northwich.
"My gratitude and thanks will never be expressed enough."
A spectacular refurbishment created a modern beer garden and a new extensive drinks and food menu has attracted lots of customers.
The newly extended beer garden offers 16 tables, including five all-weather pods.
Emma added: "Here's to the Witch becoming even bigger and better."
