MEMBERS of Cheshire Gymnasts recently attended their first competition for more than two years.
Competing across two pieces delivering floor and Vault routines, the girls did themselves proud.
First, second and third places were achieved across all age groups, with Livia Janciuke achieving the title of overall champion.
Coach and judge from Cheshire Gymnastics, Ieuan Davies, 21, said: “I’m really proud of our gymnasts – they’ve overcome so many challenges including ongoing Covid isolations which has a huge impact on training, yet each of them performed new skills on the day with great confidence and big smiles.”
The club, which held its 10th anniversary ball at The Mere Resort on Friday, have recently welcomed high performance trampolining Zoe Quarless to the team at Moss Farm
