THE focal point for many of the celebrations in the build up to Christmas in Northwich has popped up in the town centre.
Located in Apple Market Place, the Reindeer Lounge is a massive marquee that is set to play host to a plethora of events over the next couple of weeks.
As well as being home to an amazing ice rink this weekend, it will also host live music and other festive events, with a Beatles tribute act take to the stage next Friday (December 3).
The Reindeer Lounge is a collaboration between Cheshire West and Chester, Northwich BID and Northwich Town Council.
Funding by CWAC comes via the council's Reopening and Recovery Programme, which also brought a weekend of live music to Northwich Plaza in October.
The 380 square metre marquee is sealed and heated but the walls and the roof are completely transparent, with added magic brought by sparkling festoon lights.
Below is a list of what's on over the next couple of weeks:
Friday, December 3 - The Cheatles - Beatles tribute band will play an array of the Fab Four's hits.
Saturday, December 4 - The Avenue Christmas Party
Sunday, December 5 - Northwich Creative Festival - New Moon Collective will host a day of art and live music from 12pm onwards.
Tuesday, December 7 - Christmas Market - plenty of festive traders offering some great gifts, decorations and produce 12pm-7pm.
Friday, December 10 - Little Fix - One of the most accurate Little Mix tributes out there, awarding winning Little Fix take to the stage at 7pm.
Saturday, December 11 - Foodie Saturday - Artisan Market food and live music, from 11am onwards.
Sunday, December 12 - Christmas Modness - All in aid of charity 'Simply the Breast' Radio Northwich will be playing classic sounds with live music from The Tall Faces.
This event is brought to you by Music Northwich, which is funded by the reopening and recovery programme from Cheshire West & Chester Council, with part funding from Northwich Town Council and Northwich BID.
