A CHRISTMAS toy appeal has been launched.
Northwich Community Support is hoping to provide a toy and a selection box for struggling families.
Northwich town Cllr Lee Siddall, who represents Winnington and Castle, said:"It's so important that Santa doesn't forget any child over Christmas and they all have something to open on Christmas day.

"I know we are all finding it financially tough at the moment and that's why I have set up a JustGiving page so if you can only afford to give £1, it will go towards something special so a child can still have a magical Christmas this year."
Gaynor Sinar from Curtain Magic on High Street has offered to be a drop-off point for Christmas donations.
