HERE are the latest coronavirus case numbers and rates across Cheshire East and West, as case rates decrease in the past week.
A total of 485 new cases were reported in Mid Cheshire between 4pm on October 26 and 4pm today, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
This is made up of 199 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 286 cases in Cheshire East.
This is compared to 230 cases recorded in Cheshire West and 217 in Cheshire East in the previous 24-hour period.
The latest update means there have now been 1,836 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 534 per 100,000 people.
There have been 2,252 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough’s seven-day case rate is now 582.4 per 100,000.
Nationally there were 43,941 new Covid-19 cases across the UK in the latest 24-hour period.
