A NEWLY-opened care home in Rudheath has been named as the best designed care home facility in the UK.

Kitwood House is described by care professionals as 'the next generation in dementia care' with a train simulation, mock shops and UV cleaning.

This means residents can enjoy a full ‘day out’, jam packed with activity, without ever leaving the building.

And this state-of-the-art facility has not gone unnoticed.

Northwich Guardian:

Mandip Bhogal, associate healthcare development consultant at Knight Frank, visited Kitwood House to present a trophy in recognition of the site being awarded Best Care Home Design 2022 in the prestigious Knight Frank Awards.

Only the top 100 luxury care homes in the UK feature in Knight Frank’s Luxury Care Home Guide which will be published early next year.

Kitwood House is not only featured in the guide, it is also highlighted as being the best designed care home in the UK.

The last three homes built by L&M Healthcare have made it into Knight Frank’s Luxury Care Home Guide, but this is the first time the company has won.

Northwich Guardian:

Jeanne Davies said: “Kitwood House is the culmination of many years of experience in operating nursing homes, with the last 10 focussing on designing, building and operating purpose-built nursing homes which specialise in dementia care.

“We are absolutely delighted that Kitwood House has won this award.

“It is a testimony to all the research, investment and experience we have gained over the years.

“I’m immensely proud of Kitwood House and the entire team that have contributed to its design, build, facilities and interior styling.”
