MORE families than ever before are relying on foodbanks for survival.
The demand for help has doubled during the pandemic.
Mid Cheshire Foodbank is currently running short of everyday items such as fruit juice, tinned fish and toilet roll.
Winsford mayor Cllr Nathan Pardoe, who is a foodbank trustee and volunteer, said: "We wish to thank everyone who supports us. Every donation is very much appreciated.

"Without support from the community, the foodbank couldn't operate.
"We are running short of some long-life items."
Foodbanks are staffed entirely by volunteers and appreciate all the help and support they receive from the local community.
Help is available for anyone who needs it and people are urged to come forward as soon as possible.
"If you are struggling don't leave it until there have been days since you had a proper meal," said Cllr Pardoe.
"The important thing to remember is that food available for anybody who needs it, nobody needs to go hungry."
