Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after 20-year-old man was stabbed outside PureGym
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing outside a gym in Northwich.
Police were called to reports of an incident outside PureGym on Leicester Street shortly after 7pm on Thursday, September 23.
Officers found that a 20-year-old man from Winsford had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to Aintree hospital for treatment and is now recovering at home.
Following enquiries, officers have now arrested a 47-year-old man from Wigan in relation to the incident.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being questioned by officers in police custody.
