POLICE are appealing for information to help find a missing 64-year-old man from Winsford.

Robert Godfrey was last seen at his home in the Wharton area of the town at around 8.30am on Monday, October 11.

He is described as white, around 6’ 4” tall, of medium build with short grey receding hair.

At the time of his disappearance, Robert was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

He is believed to have access to an old style silver Vauxhall Astra.

Police Constable Emma Galley said: "A number of enquiries are underway to find Robert but we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"I urge anyone in or around Winsford area who thinks that they may have seen him to get in touch with us.

"The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.

"I also want to appeal directly to Robert, if you see this, please contact us or your family so that we know that you are safe and well."
