THE huge bonfire and firework festival Firefest 2021 returns to Verdin Park in Northwich next month. on Saturday 6th November.

Organised by Northwich Rotary Club and Northwich Round Table, and with help from Ladies Circle and Northwich Town Council, this year's festival on Saturday, November 6, will be 'bigger and better than ever'.

Tom Robb from Northwich Round Table said: "Whilst the emphasis is on fun and creating a great spectacle, it is also important to recognise that Firefest is organised by a team of dedicated volunteers and that every penny of profit will go to local charities."

The gates open at 5.30pm with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and the firework display itself at 7.15pm.

Rupert Adams, president of Northwich Rotary says: "In order to be Covid secure we have reduced capacity and will encourage visitors to keep within family and friend groups.

"Firefest is a great way to enjoy fireworks in a safe environment and we remind visitors that for safety reasons they must not bring alcohol or any of their own fireworks onto the site."
