FRIARS Court wants to whisk visitors away to the world of Mamma Mia – and simpler times – with the launch of its themed bottomless brunches.

Prosecco, gin, cocktails and beer will be flowing alongside a full pizza menu with vegan options for the first event on Saturday, October 2, between 12pm and 2.30pm.

There will also be themed decorations, singers and DJs and the Friars team have been overwhelmed by the response after more than 400 comments on Facebook.

Si Pugsley, from Friars, said: “We’ve done bottomless brunches before. It went quite well but we just felt it needed something else so we’re reintroducing it with different themes each time.

“It could be anything from a Queen one to a 90s one to a Beatles one.

“It’s completely open and there might be opportunities to ask people what themes they would like to see in the future.

“We didn’t know what to expect when we announced it but we had a lot of interest on social media so we’re going to give it a whirl and look at bringing it back every three to four weeks.

“There will be live singers and DJs. We want it to be something light-hearted and really fun.

“We want people singing along and not taking themselves too seriously and for it to be a bit of a break from the serious nature of life we’ve all been facing recently.

“There will be themed decorations and if people want to come in fancy dress that is absolutely encouraged.”

The Mamma Mia bottomless brunch is £30 per person. To reserve a place send a message to Friars at facebook.com/friarscourtwarrington
