THE air ambulance has been called out after a four-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene in Marston Lane, between Great Budworth and Higher Marston, at around 3pm following the collision.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman confirmed the road was closed until 4.41pm while the incident was dealt with.
She added: "At 3.04pm this afternoon (September 9) police were called to a four-vehicle collision on Marston Lane, near Vale Road, in Marston, Northwich.
"The collision involved a Land Rover, Renault Clio, Mini Cooper and a Vauxhall Corsa.
"One man was taken to Royal Stoke to be assessed. Officers remain at the scene."
Drivers are advised to find alternative routes for the time being.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We can confirm that we where called out to Northwich at 3.05pm today. The Ambulance Service, Police and Fire Service have also attended."
