MOTORISTS are being warned about overnight closures on the M6 this week as work continues on the junction 19 improvement scheme.
Starting tonight the northbound and southbound exit slip-roads will be fully closed at junction 19 between 9pm and and 6am each night until Friday.
This is expected to add 12 minutes to journey times.
Northbound traffic wanting to exit onto the A556 must continue to junction 20, for Lymm, and head back down the A50 to the dual carriageway.
Southbound traffic must head to junction 18 and exit towards Middlewich before turning onto King Street back towards the A556 at Northwich.
This weekend there will be full overnight closures of the M6 carriageway itself at junction 19 from 9pm Saturday to 6am Sunday and 9pm Sunday to 6am Monday.
The slip roads will have reopened to traffic is diverted off at junction 19, over the roundabout and back onto the carriageway.
