More than 280 new Covid cases recorded in Mid Cheshire in latest 24-hour period
MORE than 280 new Covid-19 cases have been reported across Mid Cheshire during the latest 24-hour period.
A total of 284 people have tested positive, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
This is made up of 133 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 151 cases in Cheshire East.
The total number of cases in both boroughs now stands at 32,270 in Cheshire West and 32,164 in Cheshire East.
The latest update menas there have now been 952 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 276.9 per 100,000.
There have been 956 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough's seven-day case rate is now 247.2 per 100,000.
