A NORTHWICH restaurant, labelled an ‘extended family’, is really pleased to be awarded Tripadvisor's Travellers’ Choice for 2021.
Turturici, an Italian restaurant in Davenham, is delighted with the recognition, which is based on reviews, ratings and saves from millions of travellers and customers across the globe.
“Going to work doesn’t feel like working, it’s feels like a visit to extended family, except I’m always cooking dinner,” said head chef Dan Rainford, who has been there for the last 11 weeks.
“The Travellers’ Choice award is great to have. The hard work that the entire team and family have put in has been monumental, so having a place in the top 10 per cent tells us we are getting it right, whilst motivating us to continue delivering excellence.”

Dan, 31, believes it is the Italian detail which has helped set the restaurant apart to make the top 10 per cent worldwide.
“Our food is fresh, authentic Italian with most of our ingredients being sent over from Italy.
“The drinks behind the bar are Italian and more often than not, owner Giuseppina will speak Italian.”
A Turturici spokesman posted on Facebook: "Apparently we’re in the top 10 per cent of restaurants worldwide. Huge well done to the team!"
