Gary Bailey, Manager of the new venue says; "We wanted to focus on delivering a truly unique experience that you wouldn't get anywhere else in Northwich, providing a great customer experience with an eye on quality products that offer something that’s a little bit special.

"As well of our wide selection of wines, we have a large selection of bottled beer, lagers, ciders and ales, we also have over ten alcohol-free alternatives to choose from.

"Our coffee is locally roasted and selected to provide the best possible taste and is one of the best I have ever tasted

"We've also been prioritising on staff training to enable us to provide a large range of loose leaf teas from Green Japanese and Chinese favourites including Macha, Jasmin and the totally amazing flowering green Jasmin tea server in a glass teapot, Black traditional teas and a good choice of herbal teas.”

The Grape and Bean was started by a number of local young individuals who met through carrying out charity work that benefits the local community and have been playing a major part for many years in bringing the town events such as Santa’s Sleigh and the Bonfire at Verdin park.

They came together to create a comfortable environment that would cater for a diverse clientele looking for a place to relax in the centre of town. The venue boasts an impressive indoor and outdoor drinking area in a contemporary setting that is already being well received by visitors in the weeks since its opening.

The venue received support from Northwich Business Improvement District (BID) which is working to encourage small businesses to the area and offer opportunities to engage with local events to make the most of the wonderful spaces and great community spirit of the people of Northwich.

The business endeavours to support the 'Plastic Free' campaign with compostable plastic cups available for their excellent takeaway coffee service, as well as striking a partnership with a local community garden who recycle all coffee grinds and put them to good use with their projects.

"I think what's warmed our hearts most is the reception from the local community," Gary added.

"We have welcomed all sorts of local and out of town custom through the door since opening – everyone from the after-work crowd enjoying a hard earned wine together to older local residents looking to discover something new in a relaxed and safe environment.

"The staff have enjoyed getting to know our new neighbours and are happy to talk about our recommendations.

"We really feel like we've created the perfect space to relax with your friends and enjoy a drink in one of the best locations Northwich has to offer.

"We have also been provided a date for the installation of our draft beer equipment and will be proudly serving Birra Moretti very soon."

The Grape and Bean will also be providing food in the coming weeks, so follow them on social media to keep up to date with all the latest news, events and offerings that will be announced in the coming weeks, in the meantime they have some wonderful sweet treats to get you by.
