A HOMEBUILDER has brought forward plans for a total of 180 new homes across Moulton and Davenham.

And residents' views are welcome.

Miller Homes' proposal for Moulton will seek outline permission for up to 120 homes on land behind Niddries Lane on the south side of Moulton.

This is adjacent to its nearby Weaver Grange development.

The Davenham proposal will seek to build up to 60 homes on the site located west of Jack Lane.

A total of 36 per cent of each development will be classed as 'affordable' and managed by a housing provider.

Miller Homes will be presenting its proposals to stakeholders, close residents and the wider community via virtual public exhibitions.

The next is on Tuesday, July 20.

The plans and exhibitions can be accessed by visiting millerhomesconsult.co.uk/Moulton and millerhomesconsult.co.uk/Davenham.

The virtual public exhibition features an online feedback facility for the community to leave comments and questions.

Andy Pepper, senior strategic land manager at Miller Homes, said: "We are pleased to announce our plans for Cheshire West.

"Miller Homes has a strong track record in the North West and these developments give us a great opportunity to continue building sustainable homes in quality places and contribute much-needed homes to tackle the region’s shortfall in housing supply.

"We pride ourselves on high-quality design and materials, ensuring energy efficiency.

"Together, our developments represent a multi-million-pound investment into the local economy, supporting more than 230 jobs in the process.

"We look forward to sharing our plans with the local community and hearing their feedback before submitting our outline planning applications to Cheshire West and Chester Council."
