LONG delays are expected on the M6 due to a collision.
The M6 southbound has one lane closed due to the ongoing collision.
There is approximately seven miles of congestion, which is likely to add around 40 minutes onto journey times.
It is between junction 18, affecting Northwich, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel and Chester, and junction 17 affecting Congleton and Sandbach.
Traffic officers and the north west motorway police are currently at the scene.
Recovery is on their way to the area to assist.
