ALMOST all lockdown restrictions, including the mandatory use of face coverings, will come to an end later this month.

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed on Monday that step four of the Government's roadmap would go ahead on July 19.

He confirmed that face coverings would no longer be mandatory as they are still currently, instead saying that it will be down to personal choice.

They will still be advised in crowded spaces though.

Previously scientists have said face coverings help protect others, not the wear, as they cover the nose and mouth which are the main sources of transmission for the virus.

So, we thought we would ask readers of the Guardian as to whether you will continue to wear a face covering after July 19 and your reasoning either way.

We will then be publishing the results and a selection of the best comments on our website later this week.
