POLICE are appealing for information after three ‘drunk’ men spray-painted England flags on street signs and a car.
Officers were called to the Queensway area of Winsford at around 1.30am on Wednesday following reports of a number of items had been vandalised.
On arrival, street signs, bins and a Toyota Yaris were found with the England flag sprayed on them. A search for the men, who are believed to have fled in the direction of Cherry Crescent, was carried out but they were not located.
The incident happened just hours after England had beaten Germany 2-0 to reach the quarter finals of Euro 2020.
