NORTHWICH Victoria have announced a new signing and seven pre-season friendly fixtures.
Former Witton Albion midfielder Tom Schofield has agreed to join Steve Wilkes' team after exiting fellow North West Counties Football League Premier Division club, Congleton Town.
The 30-year-old, who joined Witton from Knutsford in 2011 and departed for Colwyn Bay in 2016, also has experience from stays at Altrincham, Curzon Ashton, Ramsbottom United and Trafford, where he has had a couple of spells and won the Manchester Premier Cup.
'Schoey' scored one goal in four appearances for Congleton last season before the coronavirus pandemic cut the campaign short.
Five of Vics' seven pre-season friendlies will be away from home.
They run from Saturday, July 3, against neighbours Winnington Avenue 94 to Tuesday, July 27, against City of Liverpool at Wincham Park.
