Firefighters rescue a horse after it was stuck in a van on Middlewich Road in Northwich Pictures: Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service
A HORSE stuck in a van has been rescued by firefighters.
Crews were called to Middlewich Road in Northwich shortly after 10am this morning.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews liaised with a vet who sedated the animal so it could be safely extricated from the vehicle."

Firefighters from Winsford and Knutsford dealt with the rescue.
