IMOGEN Williamson continues to catch the eye with her performances for Delamere Forest Golf Club.
The teenager finished runner-up to Prestbury and England star Bel Wardle as she lifted the Cheshire Ladies Championship title for the third year in a row at Bramhall Golf Club.
Cheshire ladies captain Frances Gell said: “The magnificent Bel Wardle, who is hoping to make the Curtis Cup team this year, became the Cheshire Champion for the third time in succession after a magnificent display of golf in every round.
“The runner up was Imogen Williamson, a junior aged 14 who has made amazing strides in her golfing ability year by year. Well done to both.
“With such outstanding young players coming through the ranks the future looks good for Cheshire golf.”
And Williamson has been rewarded for her fine form and progress with selection to represent Cheshire for county match week in Northumberland.
