A NEW coffee shop is opening in Northwich.

A Costa Coffee drive-thru will be serving its first customers at Lostock Gralam Business Park tomorrow.

The cafe, off Manchester Road on Cheshire Business Park, has created five full time and eight part time jobs.

The coffee shop will be open from 6am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 8pm on Saturday and 7am to 7pm on Sunday.

Coffee lovers say they can't wait and shared their excitement on social media.

Fay Ravenscroft posted: "Yay! Been waiting for this. We are so looking forward to having this within walking distance of our home. Been promising the children hot chocolates and cakes! It will be lovely to walk down on a weekend morning and sit and have a coffee and a bite to eat with the family.

Gill Jackson added: "I know it's another Costa, but the demand must warrant it. My sister works at one in another town and she said people are mad for coffee. Sometimes when she starts her shift at 7 am, people are waiting outside the door. More jobs created for the town which is a big plus. I wish the new branch well."

Charlene Stuart posted: "We live on the estate there and my son's dairy free, he adores your coconut hot chocolates. He has been walking past on each dog walk asking me when it will be open. Can't wait to tell him tomorrow that it's Friday."
