A FUSS-FREE family dining experience was finally able to re-open the doors to its flagship Northwich restaurant when restrictions lifted on Monday (May 17).

Sticky Paws in the Flavour Forest, based in Barons Quay, which only started trading two weeks before the first national lockdown, became an instant with local families.

The roaring success of the family dining concept has allowed the brand to extend across the North West, with a new restaurant opening at its parent brand site The Ice Cream Farm, in Tattenhall, near Chester.

Founded by the creators of The Ice Cream Farm, Sticky Paws was designed to meet the needs of parents and young children. With no need to leave the table, guests can order with the tap of a finger from a Digi iPad menu.

What’s more, there are plans to grow the Sticky Paws brand further by opening more venues in the future.

To celebrate the reopening of Sticky Paws at Barons Quay – as well as the opening of the new restaurant at The Ice Cream Farm – the brand has expanded its menu by adding new dishes which continue the Sticky Paws ethos of serving delicious, wholesome dishes that cleverly incorporate fruit and vegetables.

From traditionally ‘safe’ choices such as Simply Spaghetti to more adventurous options like JFC (Japanese Fried Chicken) with mango and soy dip, parents can easily introduce little ones to new foods and flavours.

Plus, the manageable bowl portions are all affordably priced between £2 and £5, so there’s no need to worry about large, half-eaten plates and a big bill. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also readily available.

Sticky Paws at Barons Quay offers the innovative combination of a family eatery with a themed adventure play area – the ‘Flavour Forest’ – to make play and eating out an easy and enjoyable experience for kids and parents alike.

The ‘pick and mix’ menu enables adults and little ones to order as much or as little as they like throughout their visit, from the selection of manageable, individual-bowl dishes. And for dessert? Cheshire Farm Ice Cream is, of course, available, with tempting new flavours including Rainbow, Lotus Biscoff, and Summer Fruits.

In the Flavour Forest, children can let their imaginations run wild by climbing, bouncing and sliding to their heart’s content. The adventure play area offers a and visually exciting environment, close to parents, giving them full peace of mind.

Over at The Ice Cream Farm, the new Sticky Paws restaurant replaces the attraction’s previous restaurant, The Pantry.

At the new eatery, families can now enjoy the same tasty, nutritious dishes that are featured on the menu at Sticky Paws’ flagship venue at Barons Quay.

A new restaurant has also opened at the Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall.

And when they’re not eating, they can explore all the fun on offer at one of the North West’s most loved family attraction, including the ‘Honeycomb Canyon’ sand and water play area, and the ‘Silvercone’ racing track. Plus, The Ice Cream Farm which is home to the world’s largest ice cream shop.

Staff at both Sticky Paws venues are keen to encourage families to take advantage of the all-day, every day opening at both sites. The eateries are open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm, offering families the flexibility to eat and play whenever they want.

Jonathan Fell, Director of The Ice Cream Farm, comments: “We can’t wait to welcome families back to “Sticky Paws in the Flavour Forest” – and to officially open our brand-new 'Sticky Paws at The Ice Cream Farm'.

"The new restaurant offers parents and their children an even better playing and eating experience when they visit our Tattenhall attraction.

"And we know how much the Northwich community has been missing Sticky Paws’ relaxed, family-friendly dining and adventure play, while our restaurant at Barons Quay has been closed.

"So, it’s great to be able to finally welcome children and parents back.

"And while the coronavirus pandemic has been a tough time for us all, it has at least given us time to focus on giving more families the opportunity to enjoy the Sticky Paws brand by opening our new restaurant at The Ice Cream Farm."
