Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash in Weaverham
A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after a crash in Northwich this afternoon, Wednesday.
Officers were called at 12.08pm to Sandy Lane, Weaverham, following reports of a collision involving a red Kawasaki motorcycle and a black BMW 320D.
The motorcyclist, a man, has been taken to hospital by air ambulance.
The driver of the BMW stopped at the scene.
A road closure was in place on A49 at the junction of Sandy Lane while recovery took place.
