LOSTOCK Gralam have reached the knockout stages of the Cheshire Football League JB Parker Premier Division Challenge Cup.
Although they lost 3-2 at home to Billinge on Saturday, and are due to play the reverse fixture on Saturday to decide who finishes top of Group A, the weekend’s results elsewhere mean they and Billinge will be the two sides to go forward and compete in the quarter-finals.
This competition has provided a route back to football for grassroots teams in Cheshire since April, with league action having been curtailed since December due to Covid-19 restrictions.
