Delays are expected with the bridge not in use while repairs are carried out.
POLICE are advising motorists to stay away from Northwich town centre this morning after one its bridges was closed for maintenance.
Hayhurst Bridge is currently not in use, with delays of traffic expected until at least 11.30am.
The local policing unit say the repairs are likely to take around half an hour, with the temporary closure already causing delays.
