A DISCARDED cigarette is believed to have set fire to a rabbit hutch.
Firefighter were called to reports of a fire at a house in Old Spot Way, Winsford at around 1pm today.
On arrival crews discovered that a fire involving a rabbit hutch in a back garden had spread to the guttering of two domestic properties.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire is believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette."

Two fire engines from Winsford and Northwich dealt with the incident.
